About us

Our teaching and management team is composed of highly qualified professionals—each must hold the equivalent of an Associates Degree, a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, with several years of experience.  Our teachers either hold an Associates Degree equivalent or higher OR are actively working towards certification through the nationally recognized Child Development Associate (CDA) program or the Nationally Accredited CCP program for Early Childhood Educators.

Now proudly celebrating over seven years of serving the Elmhurst community, Elmhurst Premier Childcare is conveniently located near the Elmhurst train station, providing families with flexible care options. Our center is built on a foundation of safety, sustainability, and education. We emphasize individual child development through compassionate teaching, supported by advanced health protocols—including UV sanitizing, air purification systems, and an eco-conscious design. Our classrooms feature top-tier, LEED-certified furnishings and radiant heated floors, offering a nurturing and sustainable learning environment.

Our educators come to us with either an Early Childhood degree or meet DCFS basic requirements and are either already nationally certified or committed to obtaining the Certified Childcare Professional (CCP) national certification. In addition, all lead educators have a minimum of two years of classroom leadership experience, with many bringing five, ten, or even decades of experience in early childhood education.

We know how critical it is to provide a robust, developmentally appropriate curriculum led by caring and compassionate teachers. At the same time, we believe that creativity, fun, and engaging lessons are what truly stimulate curiosity and motivate children to learn.
